Edit 10-17-2012 I fixed some colors when I found stills of Marceline and her bear, Hambo. Also, thank you for everyone's kinds words of my grandfather. I didn't expect such kindness when I expressed what this episode meant to me.

I watched the new episode of Adventure Time tonight and I was in tears by the end of the episode. Not a tear... tears.

I think the reason the episode found me in tears was I had to watch my grandfather go through the phases of Alzheimer's Disease, slowly forgetting who we were, who he was, where his brother killed in World War 2 was, and soon he didn't speak, didn't eat, or didn't stand without assistance.

It's easy to relate to Marceline's pain and frustration when the person you love doesn't remember you, especially when you try hard to jar their memory. And seeing a character as tough as Marceline come to tears was a strong moment to watch.
